(The weekly travel forecast is intended to provide construction information to patrons of the Maine Turnpike. This schedule of lane closures is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents or other unanticipated events.)

Daytime Activities:
At Exit 44 in Scarborough a southbound lane closure is scheduled from 6am to 6pm on the Exit 44 Interchange Bridge for bridge repairs. 35 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
At mile 71 in New Gloucester a northbound lane closure is scheduled from 5am to 7pm at the Royal River for bridge work. 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
Nighttime Activities:

At mile 71 in New Gloucester a northbound lane closure is scheduled from 7pm to 5am at the Royal River for bridge work. 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect. Oversized load restrictions (in excess of 10’ wide) will be required to exit at Gray (Exit 63) and may re-enter in Auburn for northbound travel beginning August 1, 2008 until further notice.
At Exit 103 in West Gardiner north and southbound lane closures are scheduled from 8pm to 6am for pavement repair. 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.

At mile 3 in Kittery a southbound lane closure is scheduled from 7am to 3pm for roadwork.
At Exit 32 in Biddeford east and westbound lane closures are scheduled from 7:30am to 3pm for pavement repair. Brief Stoppages are scheduled and may cause short delays.

Between miles 67 and 68 in New Gloucester north and southbound lane closures are scheduled between 6:30am and 7pm at the Mayall Road Bridge for bridge work. 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.

Contractors at the Route 126 service plaza project in West Gardiner will use a double lane shift to keep traffic away from the work zone and alternating one way traffic will be used as necessary during paving operations. Grading and paving will begin on Monday July 21. The double lane shift is scheduled 6am to 6pm. 30 mph work zone speed limits will be in effect.
