Contract 2008.08—Pavement Rehabilitation and Guardrail Improvements
- Contractor: Pike Industries, Westbrook, Maine
- The Pavement Rehabilitation work consists of milling and filling the two 12-foot wide lanes (25 foot width) in Locations 1, 2 and 3. The work also involves crack sealing, drainage, pavement markings, maintenance of traffic and all other work incidental thereto in accordance with the plans and specifications.
- Location 1: 7.4 Miles of southbound travel lanes commencing at Mile 57.0 in the Town of Cumberland and extending northerly to Mile 64.4 in the Town of Gray
- Location 2: 4.4 Miles of northbound travel lanes commencing at Mile 80.8 in the City of Lewiston and extending northerly to Mile 85.2 in the Town of Sabattus
- Location 3: 4.4 Miles of southbound travel lanes commencing at Mile 80.8 in the City of Lewiston and extending northerly to Mile 85.2 in the Town of Sabattus.
- Contract completion date: October 1, 2008.
Contract 2008.05—Bridge Concrete Repair, Membrane and Paving
- Contractor: Wyman & Simpson Inc., Richmond, Maine
- Work consists of removal of deck pavement and waterproof membrane, concrete repairs, milling and paving of approaches and other work in accordance with the plans and specifications.
- Bridges included in this contract are: Dutton Hill Road Bridge (MM 59.9), Route 122 Bridge (MM 74.0) and Gardiner Interchange Bridge (MM 102.0)
- Contract completion date: October 17, 2008
Contract 2008.03—Bridge Deck Concrete Repair, Membrane Replacement and Paving
- Contractor: CPM Constructors, Freeport, Maine
- Work consists of removal of deck pavement and waterproof membrane, concrete repairs, milling and paving of approaches and other work in accordance with the plans and specifications.
- Bridges included in this contract are: York Interchange Bridge (MM 6.8), Scarborough I-295 Interchange Bridge (MM 44.3) and Eagles Nest Road Bridge (MM 60.8, northbound and southbound).
- Contract completion date: November 14, 2008
Contract 2008.02—Cleaning and Painting Steel Structures
- Contractor: Atlas Painting and Sheeting, Corp., Amherst, New York
- Bridges will be cleaned and painted with a three-coat paint system
- Bridges included under this contract are: Dutton Hill Road (MM 59.9), Old Lisbon Road Underpass (MM81.8), Furbush Road Underpass (MM 86.7), Maple Street Underpass (MM 106), Litchfield Road Underpass (MM 106.9) and Winthrop Road Underpass (MM 108.3)
- Contract completion date: November 15, 2008
Contract 2008.01 - Mayall Road Bridge Replacement, MM 67.5
- Contractor: TBD
- Replace existing one-lane bridge with a two-lane bridge
- New bridge will be higher for more under clearance over the highway
- New bridge to be built to the south of the existing bridge while maintaining traffic on the existing bridge
- Road closure at the bridge between October 1 and November 15, 2008
- Demolish existing bridge over winter months
- Contract completion June 19, 2009

Contracts 2007.03 & 2007.04 - West Gardiner Service Plaza
- Contractor: Langford & Low – Portland, ME
- Contractor: BridgeCorp – Lewiston, ME
- The work consists of constructing a new Service Plaza/Rest Area at the confluence of the Turnpike (I-95) and I-295 in the town of West Gardiner
- Install water and sewer service from town of Gardiner to facility
- Make roadway improvements on Route 126 at the intersections of I-295 ramps, including traffic lights and improving sight distance
- Make roadway improvements at the intersection of Route 126 and Service Plaza entrance, including traffic signal, traffic islands and striping
- Construct a new 18,950 square foot Service Plaza building which includes; restrooms, food court seating for Burger King, Starbucks, Hershey’s and Z-Market, and house Maine Crafts Association vendors. The building will be similar in size to the Kennebunk service plaza.
- Construct a new 958 square foot service station. CN Brown providing gasoline and diesel fuels.
- Provide truck parking separate from car parking
- Work started January 2008

Contract 2007.12 - West Gardiner Wetland Mitigation Project
- Contractor: RJ Grondin – Gorham, ME
- Reconstruct 27 acres of wetlands on a site adjacent to the Maine Turnpike highway southbound off from High Street in West Gardiner
- Work Started February 2008
- Completion June 16, 2008
Contract 2007.07 – Maine Turnpike Authority Administration Building
- Construct 55,000sf three story building
